1-4 1st couple turn by the right hand and cast off one place on own sides (2nd move up on 3-4)

5-8 1st couple dance a half figure of eight round 2nd couple, above them.

9-12 They turn with both hands once round and lead down, with near hands joined, still on the "wrong" sides.

13-16 Cast up round 3rd couple and lead up between 2nd to top place, "wrong" sides (2nd couple move down on 15-16).

17-20 1st couple turn by the right hand once round and cast off one place. 2nd couple set and turn by the right hand once round into top place.

21-24 1st couple dance a half figure of eight round the top places. 2nd cast off and dance up, crossing to opposite sides, top places, facing outwards.

25-28 1st couple turn with both hands up to top place, "open out" (i.e. the man lets go first with his left hand) and cast off into 2nd place, own sides. 2nd couple cast off into 3rd place and cross back to own sides, giving right hands. 3rd couple, taking near hands, lead up to 2nd place (25-26), where they turn with both hands once round into top place and open out (27-28).

29-32 Half reels of three on the sides : to begin (see figure), 1st couple dance down inside 2nd, and 3rd cast off. 1st couple end in 2nd place. 2nd and 3rd circle into places.

Repeat, having passed a couple.
