1-4 1st couple cross over, giving right hands, and cast off one (2nd move up).

5-8 1st couple turn by the left hand half round to face down, with hands crossed in front (two steps) and dance down (two steps). 4th couple cross over, giving right hands, and cast up one (3rd move down).

9-12 1st couple cross to “wrong” sides, the woman in front of the man, below 4th place and cast up into 3rd place. 4th couple turn by the left hand half round to face up, with hands crossed in front, and dance up. 2nd couple cross over, giving right hands, and cast off one.

13-16 1st couple turn by the left hand half round and the woman dances up to the top, while the man dances down to the bottom. Each turns left about and is in the centre of the set. 4th couple cross to “wrong” sides and cast off into 2nd place. 2nd couple turn by the left hand half round to face up, then dance up to top place, crossing to “wrong” sides, where the man turns right about and the woman left about. 3rd couple cross over, giving right hands, and cast up one.

17-20 1st couple change places, giving right hands (two steps) and turn right about (two steps). 2nd, 4th and 3rd couples set, taking hands at the sides, and cross, giving right hands to partners.

21-24 1st couple change places, giving left hands, and turn left about. 4th couple set and turn three quarters round by the left hand.

25-28 1st man and 4th woman give right hands, while 1st woman and 4th man do the same. They turn half round. Then 1st couple take left hands and face down the set with the woman on the man’s right. They take hands crossed in front and dance down to 4th place, where they retain right hands. 4th man casts off round 2nd woman while 4th woman casts up round 3rd man.

29-32 1st couple turn by the right hand once and half to own sides. 4th couple cross, giving right hands, and cast off one place (3s move up on 31-32).
