1-2 1st couple lead down one place, 2nd couple move up.

3-4 1st couple cast up below 3rd, 2nd couple lead down and begin to cast up below 3rd.

5-6 1st couple lead up to top place, followed by 2nd couple, join nearer hands at the top.

7-8 1st couple cast into second place, 2nd couple dance up to top.

9-10 1st couple Petronella into the middle.

11-12 1st couple change places, giving right hands.

13-14 1st couple Petronella to own sides.

15-16 1st couple three-quarter turn by their right hands and fall back (pas-de-basque) to face each other, man facing up, woman facing down.

17-22 Reels of three across the dance, starting by passing right shoulders, man with 3rd couple, woman with 2nd.

23-24 1st couple, 2nd and 3rd men, and 2nd and 3rd women turn by their right hands.

25-26 1st couple turn corners and Petronella to second place, opposite sides: first corners continue their turn Petronella-wise to end back to back in the middle of the dance: second corners Petronella to the middle, top and bottom, to face their partners.

27-28 1st couple cross giving left hands while 2nd and 3rd couples cross (up and down centre line) giving right hands.

29-30 1st man with 3rd, 1st woman with 2nd, turn by right hands. 1st couple continue to the middle with Petronella turn, while 3rd man and 2nd woman Petronella to own sides, 2nd man and 3rd woman Petronella to the sides, 2nd man in first place, and 3rd woman in third place.

31-32 1st couple three-quarter turn using a long arm grip to own sides, one place down.
