1-8 2nd couple dance a diagonal reel of four with 3rd woman and 1st man, while 4th couple do the same with 5th woman and 3rd man (see Fig. 1). On bar 8 2nd and 4th couples dance left shoulder round partners to be ready for

9-16 Diagonal reels of four, 2nd couple with 1st woman and 3rd man, 4th couple with 3rd woman and 5th man (see Fig. 2).

17-24 Figures of eight on the sides: 2nd and 4th women dance down in front of the woman below, cast up, dance up in front of the woman above and cast off one place, while 2nd and 4th men dance up in front of the man above, cast off, down in front of the man below and cast up one place (see Fig. 3). On bar 24 2nd and 4th men dance across to meet their partners, while 1st and 3rd women dance across (right foot) to their partners, finishing ready for

25-28 Half poussettes, 2nd couple with 1st couple and 4th with 3rd (see Fig. 4). On bar 28 2nd couple dance out into top place, 5th man dances across to his partner (right foot), while 1st, 3rd and 4th couples turn once in the middle, finishing ready for

29-32 Half poussettes, 1st with 4th couple and 3rd with 5th.
