1-4 1st couple set, approaching, and turn with both hands half round, opening out to face 2nd couple

5-6 Still bolding partner's near hand, lst man sets to 2nd woman, while 1st woman sets to 2nd man (see Fig.l)

7-8 lst man turns 2nd woman by the left hand, while 1st woman turns 2nd man by the right hand. 1st couple end in top place, “wrong sides”.

9-12 2nd couple set and turn with both hands half round and open out to face 1st couple.

13-16 1st and 2nd men set to and turn each other by the right hand, while 1st and 2nd woman set to and. turn each other by the left hand. All are now in own places, 'wrong' sides

17-20 2nd couple dance a half figure of eight round 1st couple (see Fig.2)

21-24 1st couple dance a half figure of eight round 2nd couple.

25-26 1st woman and 2nd man change places, giving right hands.

27-28 1st man and 2nd woman do the same.

29-32 Both couples turn partners by the right hand one and a half times to own sides (see Fig.3)

Repeat, having passed a couple.
