1-4 1st couple turn by the right hand once round, but do not let go until

5-8 They dance a half figure of eight round 2nd couple (see Fig.l).

9-16 2nd couple do the same, but using the left hand and dancing round 1st couple (see Fig.2 for 13-16).

17-24 1st and 2nd couples dance right hands across and back again with left hands, to the 'wrong' sides.

25-30 1st and 2nd couples turn partners by the right hand one and a half times round and

31-32 The two men - and two women - change places giving left hands (see Fig.3 for 29-32, which is a half right and left).

Repeat, having passed a couple.
