1-4 1st couple - and 3rd - cross over, giving right hands (see Fig. 1), and cast off one place (2nd - and 4th - move up on 3-4).

5-8 They cross back again, giving left hands, and the women cast up one place and the men down one. They turn leftwards and end back to back with partners ready for double W’s (see Fig. 2).

9-16 They dance double W’s (like double triangles) and end in 2nd - or 4th -- places on their own sides.

17-20 1st couple - and 3rd - lead down one place and cast up round 4th - or 5th -- couples.

21-24 They turn by the right hand and lead up to original places (2nd and 4th couples move down on 23-24).

25-28 1st - and 3rd - man sets to 2nd - and 4th - man and they turn with both hands to change places. 1st, 3rd and 4th men continue turning right about to face the next man. The corresponding women do the same.

29-32 1st - and 3rd - man sets to 4th - and. 5th - man and they turn with both hands to change places. The corresponding women do the same. All end in the order 2 4 1 5 3 (see Fig. 3).
Repeat, with couples now in 1st and 3rd places beginning.
