1-8 1st couple with 2nd, and 3rd with 4th, dance double figures of eight. 2nd and 4th couples cast up to start and finish facing out.

9-16 Reels of four on the sides: to start, 2nd and 4th couples cast up while 1st and 3rd couples cross over, dancing down, and dance their reels of four on the wrong sides. They finish with 2nd and 4th facing out on own sides, 1st and 3rd facing inwards on the wrong sides.

17-18 1st and 3rd couples, giving right hands, make a half turn, moving down one place, while 2nd and 4th cast up one place.

19-20 1st with 2nd, and 3rd with 4th, dance right hands across half round.
They finish in the order 1 2 3 4, all on the wrong sides.

21-24 All turn partners with both hands, one and a half times, finish ready for

25-28 Half poussettes, 1st couple with 2nd, and 3rd with 4th. On bars 27-28 2nd and 3rd couples dance out to their own sides while 1st and 4th couples turn with both hands, finishing ready for

29-32 Half poussette.

They finish in the order 2 4 1 3

Repeat three more times from new places.
