1-4 1st man and 2nd woman set, approaching, and turn by the right hand half round.

5-6 1st man goes below 2nd man and casts up, while 2nd woman goes above 1st woman and casts off.

7-8 All four dance right hands across half round to “wrong” sides.

9-12 1st woman and 2nd man set approaching, and turn by the left hand half round.

13-14 1st woman goes above 2nd woman and casts off, while 2nd man goes below 1st man and casts up.
1st man and 2nd woman set, approaching, and

15-16 All four dance left hands across half round, returning to their original places.

17-20 1st man and 2nd woman set, approaching and turn by the right hand half round, while (19-20) 1st woman and 2nd man set, approaching.

21-24 1st man casts up, crosses over and begins, to dance down, while 2nd woman casts off, crosses over and begins to dance up.
1st woman and 2nd man turn by the left arm nearly twice round.
All end facing partners, as if about to dance a reel of four across the dance.

25-28 All pass partners, giving right hands, then 1st man and 2nd woman begin to turn by the left hand, and
1st woman casts off into 2nd place and 2nd man casts up into top place.

29-32 1st man and 2nd woman continue their left-hand turn and then 1st man goes above 2nd man and casts off, while 2nd woman goes below 1st woman and casts up.

Repeat, having passed a couple.
