1-4 1st couple turn by the right hand once round and cast off one place (2nd move up on 3-4).

5-8 1st couple set and cross over up to top place.
2nd couple turn by the right hand once round and cast off one place.

9-12 1st and 2nd couples, taking hands at the sides, set and wheel right hands across, half round.

13-16 1st and 2nd couples set again and cross down one place.
3rd couple turn by the left hand once round and cast up to top place.

17-20 1st couple set, and turn by the left hand half round. 3rd couple turn by the right hand once round.

21-24 1st couple, retaining left hands, lead up to the top, cross over and cast off into 2nd place “wrong" sides.

2nd couple move down (21-22) and (23-24) set approaching.
3rd couple cast off one place, and, taking right hands lead up to top place; centre of the dance, own sides.

25-28 1st couple set, approaching, and turn by the left hand three quarters round, ending on the centre line facing opposite sides.
2nd couple, taking crossed hands in front, face down then, turning to their right, dance up the man's side and turn by the right hand to end in the centre line facing opposite sides,
3rd couple, taking crossed hands in front and turning to their right, dance down the woman’s side and turn by the right hand to end on the centre line, facing opposite sides.

29-32 1st couple by the left hand, 2nd and 3rd by the right hand, turn partners once and a half and return to own sides.

Repeat, having passed a couple.
