1-8 First couple cross over giving right hand, cast off one place, cross back to own sides giving the left hand, then first man casts off round third man to finish between third couple while first woman casts up round second woman to finish between second couple. Second couple step up on bars 3-4.

9-12 First man dances a half reel of three with third couple, right shoulder to third woman, to finish between them, all facing up. At the same time first woman dances a half reel of three with second couple, right shoulder to second man, to finish between them, all facing down. Figure 1.

13-16 All set three-and-three and change places giving the right hand to finish as in Figure 2.

17-20 First man dances a half reel of three with third couple, left shoulder to third man, to finish between them, all facing down. At the same time first woman dances a half reel of three with second couple, left shoulder to second woman, to finish between them, all facing up. See Figure 3.

21-24 All set three-and-three and change places giving the right hand, first man to face down and his partner up. Second and third couples finish facing partner. See Figure 4.

25-28 First couple dance round the dancer on their right to finish in second place on own sides (two steps), then set on bars 27-28. See Figure 4.

29-32 All turn partner once round with the right hand.

Repeat, having passed a couple.
